Pre sessional English & IELTS - standard
- Take this course if you are planning to go to an English speaking university or college
- Study in dynamic and hard-working classes with extremely experienced Academic English teachers
- Learn the skills necessary for academic study, including note-taking, understanding long academic texts, finding key information, summarising, writing assignments, giving presentations, listening to lectures and the language of discussion and giving opinions
- Prepare for the IELTS examination, do practice exam papers & learn the techniques to help you get the IELTS score you need
- Know what to expect when studying at college or university including types of assessment, teaching methods and important academic language
- Meet our Academic Counsellor who will help you choose the best university or college course and help you with the application process
- Visit a local university and attend a real lecture as part of the course
- Expect up to 2 hours homework per day
- You must book your IELTS examination at least 12 weeks in advance to ensure a place

All students will be required to pass the School exam entrance test before starting their exam course - Students may take the IELTS exam at the end of the course. We strongly advise you to enrol for this exam when booking the course. The exam fee must be paid at the time of booking.
