WSE wins Japan's Number 1 school of 2019

We are extremely excited to be chosen as Japan’s number 1 school of 2019 in the Ryugaku Journal’s Best School Awards.

How are these awards assessed?

These awards are based completely on the feedback of 500 of Ryugaku Journal’s clients who studied English overseas, so it’s an honest and reliable benchmark for future students also aspiring to study abroad.

What are the assessment criteria?

The Ryugaku Journal Best School Awards assesses commitment and dedication to service.  It takes a look at the following criteria and the best schools were chosen based on reports generated from the students:

  1. Teaching and Administrative Support
  2. Lessons
  3. Accommodation
  4. Facilities
  5. Environment

Overall, WSE received 5 out of 5 for Accommodation, quality of Lessons, and Environment, and a total average of 4.8 points out of 5 making us their number 1 school.

How does this ranking affect the price of a WSE course?

In English there is a saying that goes “you get what you pay for” and indeed there are some very cheap English language courses out there but you may not necessarily make much progress. When measuring the quality of a language school against the price of a course, the EL Gazette have created a handy little graph which looks at schools in London.
