Administration Officer

Wimbledon School of English is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, organised and flexible individual to join our busy administration team. This is a varied role in a lively international working environment, based in our busy Student Services department.  This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic person to join one of the most respected English language schools in the UK.


The Role

The job includes dealing with a variety of enquiries, giving help and advice to students, looking after visitors, helping potential clients, student records and administration, in-house posters and information, payments and petty cash, and general administration.  In addition, as school Designated Safeguarding Person, you will work with the DSL on all aspects of student welfare.


The post involves occasional evening work.

  • Experience of working in a customer service, hospitality, sales or educational environment
  • Fluent in one or more of the following languages: Arabic, Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian



  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Salary £21,500 p.a. (+ additional earning possibilities)
  • 20 days holiday p.a. rising to 30
  • Free lunch provided
  • The school is 3 minutes’ walk from Wimbledon train/tram/underground station (zone 3)
  • DBS enhanced disclosure certificate required
