Wimbledon School of English is an approved English language school for Bildungsurlaub 'Educational Leave' courses.
What is Bildungsurlaub Educational Leave?
Educational Leave is time off to undertake a course of full-time studies for a minimum of two weeks. Applications for this through Wimbledon School of English would mean a full-time course to improve your English language skills in all areas from speaking, writing, reading and listening; to pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary.
Participants would be required to be over the age of 18.
What are Bildungsurlaub participating German states?
These courses can be taken by students from the following German states:
Course details
Participants are required to have a minimum B1 Intermediate level.
There are two timetables depending on which state you apply from. Please see below for these:
All states, weeks 1 & 2:
Niedersachsen, Baden-Wüttemberg & Hessen, weeks 1 & 2
Please note: Participants from the German states of Hessen, Baden-Wüttemberg and Niedersachsen are required to take part in the additional lessons held from 16:00 - 17:00 which are otherwise optional for students from other states.
Fees
The fees for any state, per week is £345.00; for two weeks, £690.00.
All students will be required to pay a one-off £55 registration fee and a one-off £30 materials fee.
