Social Events Programme

Social Events Programme

London is one of the most exciting cities in the world and you will never be bored if you come to us. We want you to have fun, make friends, speak English and enjoy all that England has to offer, so we organise an exciting and inclusive social programme.

A large variety of sports and activities which take place in school are completely free. For some excursions and activities, you will only need to pay the cost of your travel and for others, there may be a charge.

Taking part in sports is a great way of getting together and making new friends and every week we organise group sports, such as:

  • Tennis – Wimbledon is the home of tennis and we are members of Wilton Tennis Club. We take a group there once a week and if you are a keen player you can play there free of charge on Monday to Thursday afternoons, all you need is a partner!

  • Table Tennis – FREE every afternoon in school

We provide all sports equipment, you only need to bring the right shoes.

If you want to keep fit, we have special arrangements with the Nuffield Health Fitness Centre where you can use the pool, join classes such as aerobics and pilates and make full use of the gym.
We can also arrange tennis and riding lessons for you on your free afternoons, and there is an excellent golf course on Wimbledon Common.
