Our Students

Depending on the time of year we have between 160 and 300 students from over 50 different countries, so coming here will give you the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and make new friends while improving your language skills.

Many of our students are studying to improve their job prospects, preparing for examinations or going on to university in the UK, while others are only here for a few weeks.  Our minimum age is 16 but from September to June our average age is 25, and 25% of our students are over 30.  There is no maximum age – our oldest student to date was 83.  In the summer months of July & August the students are younger, with 80% aged between 16 and 20.
