Early last Saturday morning a double- decker coach full of enthusiastic WSE students left for Oxford to take part in the Oxford fun run, which supports many good causes. On the way the heavens open – but spirits were not dampened. Upon arrival the skies cleared and the sun came out – just in time for the 5K fun run.
Over fifty WSE students participated in the race. Our Swiss students proved to be the most athletic, taking the top three places in the WSE group. Congratulations to Urs Lustenberger, Michael Joerg and Sebastiano Rusca, who finished in 21’30, 22’07 and 22’13 respectively! After the race the prize giving was held, followed by a well-earned BBQ at Oxford English Centre, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
