English & Culture
- This course is designed especially for the more mature student
- Combine work on English language with the study of British culture and customs
- Go on 1 full-day excursion and 3 half-day excursions.
- Excursions are chosen by the group and give you a chance to practise what you learn in the morning classes
- Study every morning, learning real and useful language which you can use immediately
- Learn a combination of social English, communication skills and vocabulary related to the excursions
- Learn different aspects of British culture. These include some of the following: culture and customs, etiquette and behaviour, the British class system, art, architecture, gardens and garden history, music, food and drink
Visits may include English stately homes and castles, gardens, museums, galleries and other places of cultural interest. Your teacher provides you with the vocabulary and background information needed to enjoy the excursions more fully
- This course has a maximum of 10 students per group
