Teachers’ Refresher Course
This course is intended for overseas teachers who want to brush up their English, study new and cutting edge teaching methodologies and learn about British culture.
During your one week course you will do the following:
- Explore a variety of teaching methodologies and classroom activities
- Receive a wealth of information and materials on British life and culture which can be used in your classroom back home
- Refresh your knowledge of English language and usage
- Visit a local British school or observe Wimbledon School of English teachers deliver classes using a variety of teaching methods
- Have the chance to discuss and share teaching ideas and experiences with colleagues
The course will help you develop professionally as a teacher by exploring your own teaching experience and developing new ideas. You will take home a wide variety of practical teaching activities which can be adapted to your own class and style. You will also have the opportunity to get an insight into British culture and changes in the language.
This course is aimed at non-native speakers who have experience of teaching English and hold a teaching qualification from their own counrtry
