The Best 5 Cafes in Wimbledon

The Best 5 Cafes in Wimbledon

Looking for someplace new for your coffee fix? Bored of all the Starbucks and Costas and need someplace new to sit down and chill out with your friends? We’ve compiled a list of cafes nearby to Wimbledon School of English.

Kaldi is little cafe isn’t part of any big chain which makes it a refreshing change to the usual coffee spots you might find. It’s located right next to Wimbledon Station with friendly staff, gourmet coffee and for those hot summery days, they serve delicious fruit smoothies. Or if you’re feeling a little peckish, they also have hot and cold food for breakfast and lunch.

Waffle Jacks in Kingston road are arguably the best Waffles in the whole of London (according to Verity!) it is very close to Cherrywood residences –  If this is something of interest, you can check out their Facebook page. They  also offer great hambugers and coffees.

Patisserie Valarie on the concourse next to Morrison’s is a franchised café, but the cakes alone make it a worthy mention. Just down the road from Wimbledon station (take a left once you exit the station) and grab yourself a coffee and chocolate cake and experience it for yourself.

There is also a café just down the road from the school on the top floor of Elys, they offer afternoon tea at a great price and the shop itself offers a great range of clothes, perfumes and shoes for those of you looking to spend just a little more!

Lu-Ma, just next door to the school is lovely, they serve tasty food & healthy  smoothies, a very nice atmosphere & you can sit outside if the weather is good. With it just being next door to the school, you'd be crazy not to even give it a go! You can have a look at their menu here: http://lu-ma.co.uk/
