Jorge from Mexico studied IELTS preparation and English for Law.
How can I describe my time at WSE? Well, I guess I should start by saying that it was one of the best experiences of my life. Being an overseas student can be difficult due to the cultural shock. But it is also more exciting because you have a real chance to get in touch with an amazing, and different culture and, of course, make friends from all around the world!

Before I started my course, I was afraid of making mistakes. But right from day one, the academic staff encouraged me to be confident and take pride in my skills. That's precisely what I think makes the greatest difference between WSE and the other language schools in the UK: the academic staff and their experience as examiners in the most prestigious exams, such as the IELTS exam. The teachers pay a lot of attention to your needs and then try to create an individual learning experience in order to help you to improve in your weaker areas. They were really supportive.
I can assure you that studying at WSE will change the way you see English and the way you study it. Thanks to WSE, I did not just improve my English but I'm now able to have a smooth conversation in English in academic or professional situations. Finally, last but not least, I met a lot of interesting people and made friends for life.
